5 Nights of Transformed (ing)

May 10, 2010 - June 14, 2010

Ezekiel 36:22-23 and 26
"Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says:  It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.  I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them.  Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."

We serve a God of redemption.  A God that loves turning our cold stone hearts that we are born with (John 9:3) into vibrant flesh hearts that we are born-again with (John 3:3).  For the next 5 Monday Nights of our weekly meetings we will be straying from our bible study efforts, and reflect solely on our spiritual testimonies.  Two of our regular attendees will share the story of God's work in their life each meeting in an effort to unite our group, learn more about each other, encourage each other through trials, and most of all reflect on the Holiness of God's great name...

The Gospel - Centered Life

March 1, 2010 - April 19, 2010

The Gospel-Centered Life is a 9-Lesson small group study intended to help us understand how the gospel shapes every aspect of life.  Developed by experienced church-planting pastors, the material is designed to promote transformational conversations among groups of mature Christians, new Christians, and non-Christians.  Because at the end of every day...

7 Letters to the Churches

 December 7, 2009 - February 22, 2010

Where else in the Bible do we get to see Jesus' exact thoughts on what serving Him should look like in a church community?  Please join us on Monday nights starting December 7th through February 22nd as we dive into a new study of Revelation Chapter 2 and 3...  The 7 letters Jesus writes to the 7 churches of Asia Minor.

The Life You've Always Wanted

October 5, 2009 - November 23, 2009

Our American culture has us all mixed up on what type of life we actually desire for our one chance on earth.  Jesus promises a life of satisfaction and fullness in him (John 10:10), and reveals to us that our hearts deepest longing is in fact God himself. John Ortberg takes us through a 7 lesson study on how we can learn to live more in the way God intended.  From this we can learn some good, practical spiritual disciplines of seeking God's will for our lives, and living a full life in as Christ's disciple.

The Book of Luke

September 15, 2008 - September 21, 2009

Jesus lived a passionate life of purpose on this planet with one main mission:  To redeem mankind's shortcomings to God the Father by becoming our mediator in paying the price for our sin on the cross (2nd Corinthians 5: 21).  Join us on our journey of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the book of Luke.  This enthralling account of Jesus' life on earth will teach us from the ground up about the greatest man (and God) that ever lived.  From the birth of John the Baptist paving the way for Christ (Luke 1), all the way through the resurrection of Christ from the dead (Luke 24); this 52 week study will knock our socks off with all of Christ's teachings and his ultimate sacrifice for us recorded by Luke.

Chasing Lions

July 16, 2008 - September 8, 2008

Your greatest regret at the end of your life will be the lions you didn't chase. You will look back longingly on risks not taken, opportunities not seized, and dreams not pursued. Stop running away from what scares you most and start chasing the God-ordained opportunities that cross your path. In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day is inspired by one of the most obscure yet courageous acts recorded in Scripture, a blessed and audacious act that left no regrets: “Benaiah chased a lion down into a pit. Then, despite the snow and slippery ground, he caught the lion and killed it” (2 Samuel 23:20 -21). Unleash the lion chaser within!
